Douglas Safety Corporation's President and Majority Shareholder is Douglas A. Wain.
Douglas A. Wain, born in 1958 in Newark, New Jersey, has over 30 years experience in the Glove and Safety field.
For 15 years, Douglas A. Wain worked at Cardinal Glove Company in New Jersey, a family owned company. He held various positions throughout his employment including Warehouse Manager, Purchasing Agent, Vice President Of Finance and eventually President. In 1988 he relocated the companies main distribution center to Richmond, Kentucky. And he became the company's majority shareholder in 1990.
From 1991 to 1995, Douglas A. Wain was then Executive Vice President of Premier Safety Products, Inc. in Lexington, Kentucky. He was one of the founders of the company as well as a minority shareholder.
MISSION STATEMENT: DOUGLAS SAFETY CORPORATION WAS INCOPORATED IN KENTUCKY ON JULY 14, 1995. IT'S PURPOSE IS TO SUPPLY DISTRIBUTORS, MANUFACTUERS AND THE PUBLIC IN THE UNITED STATES WITH QUALITY PERSONAL SAFETY PRODUCTS AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT. DOUGLAS SAFETY CORPORATION OFFERS NEW AND INNOVATIVE SERVICES AND PRODUCTS TO RESELLERS AND USERS AIMED AT REDUCING THEIR COSTS, HELPING INCREASE THEIR EFFICIENCY WHILE IMPROVING THE SAFETY OF AMERICAN WORKERS AND PEOPLE.
