Douglas A. Wain is the President/Owner of Douglas Safety Corp. He has over 30 years of experience in the Work Glove and Work Safety field.
Background
From 1978 to 1990 worked at Cardinal Glove Co., A Wain family owned business in Newark and Clifton New Jersey and Richmond, Kentucky. He held various positions though his employment including Warehouse Manager, Overseas Purchasing Agent, V.P. of Finance and eventually President. From 1990 to 1995 he was a minority shareholder and Executive Vice President of Premier Safety Products. A French owned company, The Bacou Group, in Lexington, KY. During his career, he has traveled the world extensively most especially throughout East Asia. He attended Boston University in Massachusetts and Farleigh Dickenson University in New Jersey where he met his wife of 26 years.
